La Toya T. Robinson is a poet, educator, and personality. As a poet, La Toya's publications, "The Essence of My Totality" - Volume One and Volume Two (The Writer's Edition), were self-published; and contain uplifting poetry to positively motivate the spirit. The books were published by LTRUnlimited; created by La Toya to write and publish her own works, as well as edit, and freelance for others. As an educator, La Toya is the Director of STAND (Students Taking Action for Nursing Diversity) and Pathways to Prosperity, at Bunker Hill Community College. STAND and Pathways to Prosperity are college to career readiness programs that provide high school students supported and guided pathways towards careers in healthcare. The STAND program serves six Boston Public Schools, Somerville High School, Medford High School and Cambridge Rindge and Latin, while Pathways to Prosperity serves two Boston Public Schools. La Toya is also a Theater Arts Educator who created A Step Beyond Theater Program. As a personality, La Toya (MsToyaTiffany) has been heard in Boston on 88.9 WERS, HOT97Boston, and Underground Radio. She straddles the worlds of both education and the arts, as both are highly important to her, and provide the platform she needs to provide energy, inspiration, and encouragement to uplift the next generation of leaders.
