Latoya Middleton-Cooper professionally known as Elle Cooper was born in Brooklyn, New York, on June 28 1974. Latoya was raised in one of the most notorious projects of East New York, Louis H. Pink Houses. One to never lose focus of her dream to one day become an author, she set out to finish her first urban love story. Always having a knack for the way she could imagine stories, she began to writeher first book in 1995. It's not only until the pandemic hit that she found the time to finish her first project titled What Happened Was. She credits all of her figment imagination to the one place she will always call home, 21JUMP. The love that Latoya has for her family is immeasurable. Every single word that has been written and will be written is for all of them, all of it.
