The book challenges contemporary policy approaches. It analyses key theoretical concepts and the international legal framework for minority and human rights with relevance to ethnic and racial discrimination. It describes the background to anti-discrimination legislation, policies and practice, as well as the education systems in both countries with emphasis on teacher training. The book is addressed to policy makers, educators, human rights advocates and the general public who are interested in political, legal and other factors that affect the implementation of equitable and sustainable educational policies.
Autorenporträt
Laura Laubeova,PhD, studied Education, Psychology and Public Policy at Charles University in Prague. She has worked and volunteered for several charities in human rights advocacy and Roma education. In 2005 she moved to Oxford where she works for Oxford University Hospitals as Administrator.
