Because of their private status, most Christian schools do not fall under the same federal and state laws as do public schools; thus, they may not have formal programs for students with special needs. Yet,these students often seek and gain entrance to such schools. This book examines the experiences of teachers in a particular Christian school in meeting the needs of struggling students. The instructional strategies used for two boys with low achievement are reviewed in light of Biblical mandates and of scientifically-based methods. The results are intended to enable all educators, as well as those in Christian schools, to apply relevant outcomes to their own situations.
