THE AUTOR : I started studying Congolese and Afro-Brazilian percussion in the 1980s. In 1992, I studied Afro Cuban percussion with my teacher Orlando Poleo. I've been playing and teaching ever since. I have played with a lot of salsa, jazz, pop, zouk, Congolese rumba, funk groups in Paris and in France. I played with Giovanni Hidalgo, Orlando Poleo, Iluyenkori and many others ... I have been teaching percussion in many Parisian schools since the 90s. I have written several educational books for congas and Latin percussion. I worked for several French magazines and magazines ("Batteur Magazine", PSF ...) I have been a Latin Percussion (LP) endorser and demonstrator several years.
