Successful government in Nigeria ever since the 1970s have adopted various measures to curb the menace of poverty in the country but to no avail; . This persistence has been observed that no meaningful contribution would be made in reducing poverty in the country without a thorough insight to the multidimensional nature of poverty among the people.
