Larry Bonorato, author, leader, and coach mentors current and future leaders in business, service clubs, non-profits, and churches. Utilizing the real-life scenarios and step-by-step actions in this book he invites you to learn the essential leadership and team building skills necessary for success in today's world.Larry Bonorato began his leadership journey in North Alabama excelling in both concert and marching bands, Beta and Debate clubs, plus he earned All-State Band status on French horn in 1968. At Jacksonville State University, he majored in Business Management and minored in Economics. His academic instruction in those fields, plus his additional study of Psychology and Sociology while working full time as a restaurant kitchen manager, prepared him for his progressive advancement in the business world.After college, Larry achieved rapid, remarkable success in the restaurant industry where his leadership and process orientation led him to supervise a territory on the Gulf Coast with 17 fast food restaurants in Alabama and Florida. In 1980, he left the restaurant business to enter the highly competitive retail automobile business in Savannah, GA. In 41 years, Larry excelled in many roles including new and used vehicle sales, Sales Manager, General Sales Manager, Variable Operations Director, General Manager, Business Development Center Manager, and Training Director. This leadership journey required his services in Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Florida, Alabama, and Tennessee.As a "Fixer" Larry achieved impressive, lasting results in both the restaurant and automobile businesses. Using the templates and techniques he describes in his book, WORK WITH ME NOT FOR ME, Larry was sent to many locations to turn around underperforming teams. Along the way, he has trained and mentored many successful managers, sharing his leadership and team building processes.
