However, there is nothing selfish about eliminating self-criticism, treating yourself with kindness, feeling worthwhile, being happy, transcending your worries or finding a peaceful place within. These gifts, which you can give to yourself at any moment, will fill you with positive energy and caring you can pass onto others. He looks forward to hearing from you.
Autorenporträt
" Nate Terrell is a licensed clinical social worker who has a private therapy practice in his home office in Mullica Hill, New Jersey. Over the past thirty years, he has had the privilege of helping his therapy and coaching clients find greater happiness and inner peace by developing self-compassion. He also provides training on self-compassion for hospitals, non-profit organizations and schools to help participants achieve resilience and avoid "burnout." Finally, he teaches Interpersonal Communication at Temple University. After spending most of his life putting aside his own needs to help others, Nate Terrell was inspired by his son to finally be his own best friend and take great care of himself. As a result, he has even more energy to help others and create a better world. Now he wants to pass on what he has learned about achieving self-compassion to you. Nate Terrell lives his wife, Dr. Anita Foeman, and three children. He has learned about the importance of choosing happiness from his oldest daughter, Nicole, who has a type of autism called Retts syndrome."
