South eastern Tasmania's history is rich with stories of European explorers. The area now known as Marion Bay was visited by many of those explorers, and tragically was the site of the first known killing of an Aboriginal person by European foreigners. After moving to the area in 1993 Lex Johnson spent two decades researching this history.
