This memoir of a boyhood in Lakewood Ohio from 1938-1952 offers an accessible history woven together of simple and intimate stories. Ordinary people in family relationships change each other and are changed by the times in which they live. The book's anecdotes, both funny and serious, grapple with how people evolve to become who they are. Parents and their Son - a Memoir gives the reader room to reflect on their own growing up and how they came to be who they are.
