Autorenporträt
Hermit Poet. Prior to retiring to the Oregon coast in 2016, Leigh Zaph worked for 30 years as owner and CEO of a real estate firm in NYC. Previous work experiences included management in the entertainment field during the 1970's, producing over 100 concerts and musical events, followed by a 5 year career in market research. Originally attracted to writing as an undergraduate at Cornell University, he returned to poetry in 2012. His poems draw upon an academic and familial background that covers a wide range of interests including 20th century literary theory, semiotics, psychoanalysis, and philosophical investigation-each affecting the voice and manner of his work.
