As I was seeking a solution to help my students who were struggling with reading and writing, I found about the jolly Phonics method. I was so fascinated by this fun child-friendly method that I decided to use it for the treatment phase of my MA project. Ever since I've started using Jolly Phonics, I feel so much different in the class. Jolly Phonics has brought about a different sense and atmosphere to my classes both for me as a teacher and for my students. I think this joyful method has been very well named; "Jolly" perfectly suits it! Following the observations of the amazing impacts that jolly phonics have had on improving my students' literacy skills, I genuinely want to introduce Jolly Phonics to other teachers and make them aware of the amazing influences that Jolly Phonics can have on their teaching. This book is divided into five chapters. Having set the scene in chapter 1, chapter 2 reviews the related literature on literacy issues. Chapter 3 describes a comprehensive delineation of the research methods and instruments utilized. Chapter 4 reports the results, and finally, in chapter 5 an in-depth discussion of findings and their pedagogical implications is provided.
