This study focuses on the microorganisms who adjust themselves to various ranging temperatures, adjusting to the irregular and uneven flow of water.in central part of India. The bio-habitat in focus is entirely man-made with minimum anthropogenic activities in the water. This work will enhance the knowledge of students and researchers interested in extraordinary aquatic habitat.

Fly ash is the major field of her research related to environmental studies.She has been conferred various awards.Shikha Shrivatsva and Lekhika Shrivastava have worked on different aspects of fly ash and published numerous research papers together.
