It was, however, unclear to which level CIM is being practiced by manufacturing companies in Namibia. This study assessed the knowledge, attitude, and practices of CIM among manufacturing companies in Windhoek. In addition, the study also assessed the influence of companies' characteristics (age, type of ownership etc.,) on the practice of CIM. Data were obtained by interviewing and administering questionnaires to production managers or engineers from 19 manufacturing companies in Windhoek. The data were analyzed using qualitative content analysis and descriptive statistics.
