The publication of Diagnosis marks the tenth year in Darryl Leslie Gopaul's career as a full-time novelist and writer of non-fiction. It offers a fictional look at several cases studies that the author encountered over the course of his career. He has proudly authored many books over the years. His first book, Bacteria, the Good, the Bad, the Ugly was a non-fiction spoof of his profession as a Medical Microbiologist. Then Gopaul wrote a work of fiction based on myths and stories of his youth spent in Trinidad. The interweaving of those tales brought over by African slaves and indentured workers from the Indian continent, as well as the Portuguese, Spaniards and French, combined to form a rich encyclopedia of imaginary in Tales of Myths and Fantasy. His next book, Around the World on Three Underwear, was non-fiction, based upon his family's travels as they ventured around the world. It's a humorous look at travel for it is not a very easy thing to do when one has only his spouse as his companion for five months. These are but a few of the books and articles that the author has written.
