The realization that communication - a universal condition of human existence came into science early. Owing to the efforts of representatives of the existential-humanistic psychology this perspective of communication consideration has become a priority in psychology. In the book from the standpoint of ontopsychology communication on the example of Russian culture is shown the socio-cultural and public mediation of communication. Based on the characteristics of Russian culture, features of Russian folklore, philosophy, literature, orthodoxy, as well as on the psychological researches the absence of the premises to manipulation is proven. However, society shapes certain value attitudes, necessary for a successful adaptation to it. Therefore, the book examines the impact of contemporary social situation on the Russian cultural values and, thereat, psychological well-being of Russians.
