Autorenporträt
Growing up in China during 60's, I didn't have access to children's books. I dreamed that one day, I'd wear a white coat and work in a science lab! In 1985 I traveled to the US as a scholar, then went to graduate school. I was trained in endodontic dentistry and in 1991 I became an Endodontist! My interest in photography began during our family trips with my lovely 2 children and my husband, while enjoying wildlife in its natural environment. I have traveled seven continents, climbed the Himalaya for Snow Leopards; searched for Emperor Penguins by the ice breaker; watched Lemurs on the mountains in Madagascar; observed Polar Bears at -30 F degrees at Arctic; and enjoyed a gorilla family in Uganda, as well as Jaguars in the Pantanal of Brazil. I create children's books to share the amazing nature beauties I've seen, hoping it will encourage your involvement in wildlife conservation. The Earth is our home. We must make every effort to protect it ! The wildlife and its habitat's future are in our hands!
