In 1925, Liesel Anita Becker was welcomed into a well-established Jewish family in Chemnitz, Germany. By 1933 she found herself bicycling to school in Holland. In April 1939, her family crossed the Atlantic to escape Hitler's murderous Nazis. This story is of the full life she has lived, never forgetting her immigrant history.
