Linali Pathirathne graduated from the University of Colombo with Second Class Upper Division specializing in Statistics. For her final year research project she worked on United Nations data with the objective of finding the determinants of life expectancy. She was supervised by Professor Roshini Sooriyarachchi of the Department of Statistics.
