In 2009, Liliane Brakema, obtained her cum laude bachelors degree¿Economics and Business¿ with a Minor ¿International Development Studies¿ at theUniversity of Amsterdam. The latter inspired her to do research on microfinanceinstitutions and their operating motives. Currently she is studying directing atthe Theatre Academy in Maastricht.
