Autorenporträt
Xiang Yong is a professor and a teacher at the School of Architecture and Civil Engineering, Xihua University. He currently serves as an expert in thesis evaluation at the Degree Center of the Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China, a decision-making expert at the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development, a review expert for the National Natural Science Foundation Committee, and a member of the Teaching Committee. He has also held the following positions: Public Administration in Sichuan Province, Evaluation Expert for science and technology projects at the Department of Science and Technology in Sichuan Province, Evaluation Expert for investment projects by the Sichuan Provincial Government, and Standing Director at the Research Association for Techno-Economic Modernization Management in Sichuan Province. He has published over 40 academic research papers on topics such as emergency response coordination in engineering projects, urban governance, urban disaster prevention, and mitigation. He has led more than 30 research projects. His current research interests include urban governance, urban safety and emergency response coordination, as well as emergency management in major engineering projects.
