As patriotism, unity and transparency is important for the growth and development of Kenya as a country, the culture of the people is also very important in defining peoples genera; way of life for instance the way they respond or deal with problems with different people in the society. The people in the society tend to demand for different things in their lives for example security, good governance, unity, transparency and good communication and coordination among different groups of people within the society. The problems such as lack of transparency, peace and peoples desire to get rich, the practice of corruption among the people have remained a major factor leading to land conflicts in Kenya. From the findings of the study, it has been observed, that grabbing of reserved lands by prominent persons in the government is another factor responsible for the increase in the conflicts among the Kenyan people. This is because such an act has undermined the Kenyan people of which the majorities are poor.
