James Fowler, former editor of the poetry journal Slant, teaches literature at the University of Central Arkansas. He has published poetry, fiction, and essays. His poems have appeared in such journals as Cave Region Review, Elder Mountain, Cantos, Futures Trading Magazine, Valley Voices, Aji Magazine, Dash, Westview, and Sheila-Na-Gig. He has pieces forthcoming in Common Ground Review, Seems, Malevolent Soap, and The Poetry of Capital.
