Pig rearing is a tradition in Mizoram, India. The indigenous pig of Mizoram is locally known as 'Zovawk'. It is reared by Mizo community for pork and manure purpose. The animals are black and white spot on forehead, white patches on the belly and white boots. These are small sized animals with an average body weight of 54 Kg in case of male and 59 Kg in case of female.
