Dr. Marc-Michael H. Bergfeld heads Courage Partners ¿ a boutique advisory collaborative serving leading family / private equity-controlled firms in innovation and internationalization. Academically, he is lecturer of strategy, innovation & family firms at Munich Business School and an affiliate to the Manchester Institute of Innovation Research. His research focuses on corporate strategy, global innovation & technology transfer, and the pan-generational development of family firms. Dr. Bergfeld holds a Ph.D. from Manchester Business School with external supervision through the Centre of Global R&D at Tsinghua University in Beijing. Also, he is a Master of Business Administration / Diplom-Kaufmann from the Catholic University of Eichstaett - Ingolstadt School of Management.
