Born at a small rural villadge of Ga-Mokgehle in the Senwabarwana (Bochum)Area of Limpopo Province and attanded Maupye Primary School up to Std. 6 then proceded to Mabotha Sec. School to complete Junior Certificate. A teacher by profession with Masters Degree in Folklore completed at the University of Limpopo.
