Therefore smart delivery systems are required to develop for effective cancer therapy. Two points are very crucial for successful cancer therapy: i) improvement of drug's efficacy and ii) low cytotoxicity on normal cells. In this book, smart nanocarrier has been developed for the purpose of paclitaxel release in response of temperature change during hyperthermia treatment. Higher temperature of hyperthermia synergistically improves the efficacy of paclitaxel and using local hyperthermia its toxic effects on normal cells can be reduced.

Moumita Kundu acquired B.Pharm and M.Pharm from Jadavpur University, India in 2013 and 2015 respectively. She achieved University Gold Medal for standing 1st in order of merit at the B.Pharm examination, 2013. Presently, she is a research scholar in SMST, IITKGP, India.
