Polymer composite is materials with a wide variety of properties. These materials often exhibit properties that are superior to any individual component polymer and the significant advantages of polymer composite are that the properties of the final product can be tailored to requirements of the applications, which cannot be achieved by polymer itself. Polymer filled with metal halides is promising materials in advanced electrochemical applications. So this work was chosen to represent a study of the structural and many physical properties of virgin PES polymer and polymer that filled with various concentrations of different types of metal halides namely FeCl3 or LiBr. PES was chosen as a host thermoplastic polymer because of its good properties such as: electrical insulation characteristics, mechanical strength, optical properties, outstanding thermal stability, easy processability and oxidative resistance. The metal halides were chosen as fillers because these compounds could modify the structural, optical, thermal and electrical properties of the polymeric matrices.
