The present study deals with illustrating the reproductive toxicological aspects of two widely used plant growth regulators, one of them is gibberellic acid and the second one is the indole acetic acid. Both plant hormones orally administered Each individual received oral doses of 100 mg/Kg B.wt for 40 days every other day before pregnancy and from the 1st to 14th day of gestation. This treatment reproduced marked intoxication of rat liver, bone ,CNS, and eye of mothers and its embryo manifested by massive depletion of accumulated body weight gain and reflected by intense histopathological alterations of liver tissues. So the usage of plant growth regulators must be stopped because of its dangerous effect on the biological systems. Instead of these toxic substances we must use natural products which have not any side effect on the environment.
