The extraction was done using ethanol 80% with assist of ultrasonic and by distilled water with assist of microwave. These plants were shown to possess various beneficial effects such as antiseptic, antimicrobial, anticancer and antioxidative properties. To avoid the dangerous effect of the ordinary used synthetic antioxidants in food, developed methods of extraction were employed among to improve the production, detection, separation and characterization of natural bioactive compounds and to obtain detailed information about different plant extracts that could be potentially used in order to use them as safe additives in foods and pharmaceuticals.

Mohamed Fayez Abo El-Maati was born on 4/3/1987. He is Egyptian. He had Ph.D. in 27/10/2016 from Biochemistry Dep., Agriculture Faculty, Zagazig University. He works as a lecturer in the same department from 27/12/2016 to date. Field of his research interest is extracting plant to determine the antioxidants, antimicrobial and anticancer activity.
