Dr.Mekewi was born in Alexandria, Egypt in 1949. B.Sc from Ain-Shams University (1968 hons)and PhD from The City University, London U.K. Joined Ain Shams University as polymer and material science teacher at since 1978. Published over 50 articles and supervised over 30 MSc and PhD students.Married with one daughter.
