Two-spotted spider mite (T. telarius, T. cinnabarinus and T. urticae) is considered one of the major pests causing considerable damage to cotton fields. Laboratory and field experiments were carried out to study the efficiency of three herbicides, three acaricides and the interaction between them on population and fecundity of the mite. Laboratory experiments, the ovicidal action of dicofol-dimethoate, triazophos and vamidothion and susceptibility of T. telarius adults to the acaricides were studied. Field experiments, tow field experiments were conducted to study the effect of: 1. Three herbicides namely fluometuron, butralin & as well am hoeing and unweeded treatments.2- Three acaricides namely dicofol -dimethoate, triazophos & vamidothion. 3- Interaction between 1 and 2 treatments on population of two-spotted spider mite T. spp (T. telarius, T. cinnabarinus and T. urticae).Combined data for both seasons indicated that weedy cotton harboured the highest mite population that surpassed significantly that of herbicide treated cotton, but was the same as that of hoed cotton. Twice hoeing caused 21.2% reduction in mite population while 39.8%, 40.7% & 46.5 % reductions for three h..
