Study of the Evaluation of the In vitro Inhibitory Effect of N-(2-hydroxybenzylidene) aniline Derivatives and their Copper (II) Complexes On to Certain Fungal Species of Fusarium. The obtained results reveal that the inhibitory power of hydroxy-Schiff bases on three fungal species seems to be proportional to the concentration. At a concentration of 1 mg / ml, the derivatives of the copper (II) complexes have a higher activity relative to the corresponding hydroxy-Schiff bases (ligands). Moreover, a better inhibitory effect on the Fusarium graminearum strain was revealed in the presence of the [Cu- (SA-p-Cl) 2] complex with a percentage of inhibition equal to 42.57 ± 0.63% with respect to the fungicide. However, the derivatives of the copper (II) complexes in para- position better inhibit the fungal strains than those in the ortho- and meta- position. We can conclude that these activities are related to the presence of groups; Electron donor or electron attractors at various position.
