The aim of the present work was to discover the efficient variants to remove mercury and its toxic compositions from contaminated regions around Bandar Imam Petrochemical Complex (in Persian Gulf) by which the environment and human health will be safe. Analysis for cleaning was done by electrokinetics method. According to aforementioned goal, the following problems were posed: To study and analyze cleaning methods and efficiency of different types of soil contaminated with mercury. To determine such expedient tension of power which is used in electrokinetics method by which it will be possible to reach the maximum efficiency. To reveal such expedient compound of solutions which is used in electrokinetics method during electrolysis by which it will be possible to reach the maximum efficiency. To discover all the preventing factors which result in the decrease of the efficiency of cleaning processes. Also to discover all the optimal factors which result in the increase of the efficiency of cleaning processes.
