This research is associated with the warranty related problems. This is a statistical project. Warranty has become an important factor for each organization because it accounts a large profit in most of the organization. This research is related to software related to warranty optimization. A Software (OptiW) is developed that can be applied to any system with different components which follow Weibull distribution. The software can determine Type of alternatives, type of warranty policies and optimum warranty duration period for different components within a system. This software is using life cycle cost as objective function that is minimized related to the various constraints. Mean time between failure and spare parts cost are the constraints for this problem. This software is basically designed in Mat-lab and Genetic algorithm is used to solve this problem. Graphical user interface is developed using guide tool in Mat-lab. An exe file is developed using deploy tool to make this software applicable for any window. This software is taking MTBF and spare parts cost for entire system and minimizing life cycle cost over useful life of the product.
