Commercial aromatic plants are used for production of the odorous oil for example, geranium, (Pleragonium odoratisimum) whereas , medicinal plants are used for production of aromatic or drugs or both. Chamomilla (Matricaria chamomilla L.) is one of the most important aromat ic and medicinal plants since chamomilla flowers are used for extraction of aromatic drugs. These drugs contain 1% essential oil of which chamazulene and bisabolol.
