Obesity is a serious health problem which has become prevalent in developed countries in recent years. Obesity is a serious health problem which has become prevalent in developed countries in recent years. Physiologically, it results from an imbalance between energy intake and energy expenditure and is characterized by increased fat accumulation in adipose tissue and elevated lipid concentrations in blood. Visceral fat mass is more closely correlated with obesity-associated pathology than overall adiposity.Hypertension is considered one of the prevalent risk factors for coronary heart disease, cardiovascular disease, ischemic heart disease and cardiac failure in which systolic blood pressure and diastolic blood pressure are increasing compared to normal level. Hypertension leads to endothelial dysfunction and sebsequently damage this layer. The present study aimed to investigate the effects of P-407 and sodium chloride induced obesity and hypertension in male albino rats and, therapeutic effects of administration of CoQ10 and/or ALA as a rare element with antioxidant properties in ameliorating induced damage on heart tissue and some biochemical parameters.
