Autorenporträt

Monica Welander was born in 1979 in Sweden. She is a musician and songwriter performing as Monica and The Explosion. Website www.monicaandtheexplosion.com She started writing songs as a teenager and has been songwriter and singer in several bands. She released her debut album "Monica and The Explosion" in 2007. Since then she has been touring intensively around the world as and artist. She has also been active holding songwriting workshops for beginners since 2008. This is an updated and improved version in English of her first book "Låtskrivarboken", published in Swedish in 2009.
