Conducting this study was necessitated by the need to investigate and validate the assumption that Imbuga s drama borrows from certain genres of orature. Moses Oyondi Atwoli is a high school teacher. He has, for over ten years, taught English and Literature successfully in several schools in Western Kenya. He holds a Master of Arts degree in Literature from Kenyatta University.
