Matt graduated from Valley Forge Christian College, located in Phoenixville, Pennsylvania. He has served in the ministry since 1996, seeing God's love and power setting multitudes free. He and his wife, Karen, have been married for twenty-four years and have two sons, Caleb and Noah.
