Don was as conventional as his two favorite things in life: love and jello. Since arriving at the manor in a small town in Kentucky, Don had felt out of place. After all he was a 1960 graduate of Henry Ford HS and felt intellectually superior to the pseudo intellects that occupied the elderly complex known as "the Manor" to the local community. One resident in particular tried Don's patience. How could someone as simple as Wayne even remember to breathe he had often wondered. Still the Manor was a place where Don could feel superior and stay under the radar. He was finding that even under the radar, old demons had a way of locating him. Would the meeting of his intellectual equal, Faith be enough to rescue him from his demons or would he self destruct and bring the rest of the manor residents down with him?
