When Matthew Markland moved to Delaware City, Delaware with his husband, one-eyed cat, and three-legged dog, he quickly discovered that the peace and quiet helped his inspiration to write thrive after moving from the city. Little by little, word by word, he started pouring emotion onto the pages of his debut novel, I Remember. With a lot of love and a bit of procrastination, he finally completed his work after almost a year and a half of focus and encouragement by his husband.
