Maureen Wilks-Miller. These approaches and strategies will include critical thinking skills that will represent a movement from the traditional form of delivery to more interactive approaches involving inquiry-based learning, and reflective learning which facilitate students to direct their own learning. The research will also attempt to gather information from the incoming students' point of view on the use or not of patois, the Jamaican dialect, in their worldview. Miss Wilks-Miller specializes in Literacy Studies (Reading) and Human Resource Management courses. Present education faculty in the Department of Humanities & Aesthetics at her institution (Name withheld). Pursued the Doctor of Education degree at the Fischler College of Education at Nova Southeastern University, Florida, U.S.A. Educational Specialist: EDS concentration in Reading, minor in Human Resource Management, Fischler College of Education at Nova Southeastern University, Florida, U.S.A. Bachelor of Education majoring in Literacy Studies: University of the West Indies, Mona, Kingston, Jamaica. Diploma in Teacher Training majoring in Primary Education, elective Advanced Reading; Moneague Teacher's College, Moneague, St. Ann, Jamaica. She is a member of the Jamaica Reading/Literacy Association and the International Reading Association. Dr. Indiana Robinson is an author of over 60 books with topics covering biography, history, visual arts, poetry, academics, music, novellas, ancestry, children, business, sports (cricket), and business. She is also an educator who has worked as an adjunct faculty and her experience spans stints in the following areas: Dr. Robinson earned two Bachelor's degrees from Florida Atlantic University (Magna Cum Laude), two Masters' degrees from H. Wayne Huizenga School of Business and Entrepreneurship, and a doctoral degree from the Fischler College of Education at Nova Southeastern University. Born to parents, David Harrison and Louise Perry, she and her siblings Edgar, Fernandie, and Arthur as well as his sister Sharon. Dr. Robinson is married to Jackie Robinson of the Pioneers Reggae Group. Her stepchildren are Bobby, Marc, and Kelly and their offsprings, Saffron, Sasha and her son Sachon, Shae, Marley, and Joseph King as well as her nieces and nephews: Marsha, Rohan Sean, and Dean Hibbert; Major Carlington Reid, and 2nd Lt. Tara and Errol, Jr Price; and Krisan and Captain Caniggia Harrison and their offsprings.
