Maxine Swisa used to be a top-level executive at a Fortune 1000 company. She was successful, but she wasn't happy. Swisa soon realized that this wasn't the life she wanted. Swisa changed her path and began helping others find comfort, peace, and joy in their lives. Her unique curriculum, BREATHE, utilizes research into neuroplasticity and positive psychology to teach mindfulness and improve interpersonal relationship skills. Her workshops help hundreds of people find compassion, self-acceptance, and happiness. When Swisa isn't teaching, writing, or developing new coursework, she is spending time with her two daughters, hiking, meditating, practicing yoga, meeting new people, and traveling. She hails from Santa Fe, New Mexico, the Land of Enchantment.
