The preliminary study of antimicrobial activity was done on four various strains of bacteria and two strains of fungi. It was recorded that significant antibacterial activity of synthesized compounds against gram positive and gram negative bacteria particularly streptococcus pyogenes, Staphylococcus aureus, Escherichia coli and klebsiella pneumonia opposite the parent compound nalidixic acid.The preliminary study of antifungal activity of the synthesized compounds revealed significant activity against Candida Albicans compared with activity Candida Tropicalis.
