Autorenporträt
As a child, art has been one of my favourite activities and I have always been good at drawing and painting the beautiful scenery at my home town but never used a camera to do the job until my late 20s. My goal was to capture the nice moments and beautiful scenes but then I discovered I was also fond of how the camera worked and wanted to get better photos and have more control of the camera and its results. So I began to read more about photography and look into many different styles and techniques. Photography is a different world to me and the possibilities are really endless. When I realised my passion for photography I wanted to further pursue it and spend more time at it. So I bought my first DSLR and enrolled myself in a photography course with the New York Institute of Photography. That took me from being an amateur to becoming a serious enthusiast and had given me more confidence, guidance and knowledge. Later, in order to make sure that I retain what I learned, I decided to teach it. Having training capabilities as an expertise I conducted a successful photography session in the community where I used to live. The students found ease that I myself was an amateur not so long ago before the class. And I conducted the class via a compiled set of instructions that later evolved to become this book.
