The effects of different factors, such as media plant growth regulators, culture vessel etc., on growth have been studied and analysed for these selected plants. This book would be particularly useful for both, students and plant tissue culture professionals because of its detailed nature. The book also contains an estimate of the number of plantlets that can be generated, from a single explant, for each of the medicinal plants.

Dr. Madhura Shrotri was awarded a Ph.D. in Botany by the University of Mumbai in 2004. Dr. Usha Mukundan is the Head of Institution, RJ College, Mumbai with over 36 years of research experience in the field of plant sciences. Dr. Himanshu Dawda is an Associate Professor of Botany at RJ College, with a specialization in plant physiology.
