This study was conducted to appraise the implementation of Continuous Assessment Policy in Practical Agriculture (College of Education Level). Four Research questions and two hypotheses guided the study. A survey research design was employed for the study. The target population for the study consisted of all the agriculture Teachers in Colleges of Education in the North East Zone of Nigeria. Mean, standard deviation and t-test of significance were the statistical tools used for data analysis. The hypotheses were tested at 0.05 level. The findings revealed that; (1) adequate orientation/training were not given to teachers. (2) assessment of students learning outcome in practical agriculture were still minimally carried out in affective and psychomotor domain; (3) most practical agriculture teachers do not comply with the guidelines on Continuous Assessment implementation; (4) facilities necessary teaching and learning are inadequate; (5) teachers compliance with the guideline on /Practical Agriculture is independent of their qualification and teaching experience. Based on the finding the researcher made some recommendations which can be found in the main work.
