"The Devil's Lyrics" tells the supernatural tale of a high school senior named Deandre Castillo. Deandre has dreams of becoming a famous hip hop artist, but he is a little too eager to reach the ranks of some of his idols. Deandre enjoyed a life of luxury before moving to California, but years of hardship in his new hometown cause him to seek immediate rap success by any means necessary. Deandre is able to impress his friends with his musical talent; however, a dark spirit encourages Deandre to woo the entire world with his craft simply by joining the spirit in a mutually beneficial agreement....
