>The spread of the Coronavirus fully ensued upon Bivins success in passing the Maryland Bar exam, and the pandemic rendered a tough challenge for him to obtain a job in law. Bivins decided it was finally time to return to his original calling and use time spent quarantining to craft his first novel. Bivins reflected on how the hip hop music he loved as a child evolved over time as he got older. The evolution of the music he listened to caused his hobbies and interests to evolve as well. Some of the interests Bivins developed proved hazardous to his mental health, and thus he decided to incorporate some of his own experiences into his first book in order to put a clever spin on what it may cost to become the envy of your peers. Bivins aims to entertain the masses with a variety of horror stories taking place in the fictitious settings of impoverished areas, thus propelling the niche genre of urban fantasy.
