The book consists of a short background history of KwaNzimela as a mission station some 150 years ago. It follows the development of the area known as KwaMagwaza and the place of the Anglican Church's involvement. The centre was used in many different ways by the Diocese of Zululand who had been given the area by the Zulu king specifically for use as a mission station and is now used for conferences and retreats and Diocesan clergy training. The book outlines the experiences of one woman who was the warden there for 5 years during which time she witnessed the many ways in which the centre afforded an opportunity for her, and the many people visiting, to feel the aura of God's presence in that place. Although the centre is well known in the Diocese of Zululand and perhaps others, many people do not know of it, on reading this book I really hope that people will be tempted to find out more first hand.
